Challenge
Give a community health center a long-span perforated facade that manages daylight and airflow without secondary steel.
Solution
Aurora folded perforated panels engineered for longer spans and a clean installation.
Valley Health Center San Jose is a 10-story facility designed by WRNS Studio to expand medical services for Santa Clara County and support a more pedestrian-oriented neighborhood at Bascom Station.
Valmont supplied the Aurora perforated panel system. The system is designed for longer panel spans with no secondary steel, which simplifies installation and keeps a refined facade. The perforations promote airflow, manage daylight, and provide a durable exterior.
South Bay was the general contractor and B.T. Mancini Co. installed the facade.
