Challenge
Ventilate and shade a large pediatric hospital parking garage while keeping a clear architectural identity.
Solution
More than 43,000 square feet of Aurora perforated cassette panels with fins, signage support, and LED light-bar shelves.
Valmont Facades collaborated with Anderson Aluminum Corporation on the Silver Parking Garage at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. The garage needed ventilation, solar modulation, and a civic appearance on one of the nation’s leading pediatric healthcare campuses.
Valmont Facades supplied more than 43,000 square feet of Aurora perforated metal panels with integrated fins. Custom cassette panels supported an efficient installation and a consistent appearance. The scope also included signage support and LED light-bar shelves so wayfinding and illumination sit inside the facade system.
NBBJ was the architect, Turner Construction Company the general contractor, and Anderson Aluminum the installer.
